Day 100: New Adventures

Car troubles have been resounding in my family for the last several months. Each time a new problem arises we all cringe and wait for a bill that we didn't expect. It was my car yesterday - just in time for my trip. An odd smell... but I'm so lucky to have a dad that would drive it to the mechanic and urge them to fix it as quickly as possible this morning in efforts to help me leave town.  They replaced the radiator.  While I hate the bills, I am glad I didn't break down on the road, as that would have been much worse.

I left around 1pm.  I've made the drive from MT to CO twice and I believe I've gone similar ways each time, but my GPS decided to take me down a new path today. It was raining/snowing as I got into the car and then glorious sun along a wonderful river enclosed in forest. The further East I drove the colder it got and eventually it was snowy and icy. It was a beautiful, new drive.

I love taking new paths and seeing all of the beauty around - if we just stick to what we know, we may miss out on something wonderful.  I know this applies to my life in so many ways so I guess it'll be my reflection for the coming days - what else might I need to try?
