The Mission

Lately I've found myself getting caught up in sadness or anger - usually about things happening in the world or external issues that have directly affected my life.  When others are experiencing this, I seem to find myself encouraging them with lines like, "Only you can choose to be happy," or "This moments is brand new, what will you do make a difference?" and as far as, "Dwelling doesn't help."

So I find it interesting when I can't hear my own advice, my own "wisdom;" my own random inspirational thoughts that I probably compiled after reading them from someone else.  I also find it important to acknowledge the human experience, and note that we have emotions and react to things the way we do as individuals, and that is never to be discredited.

Simultaneously, I want to be happy.  And I think all people deserve to be happy.  So I've decided to start a blog.  365 Days of Happiness.  To record on a daily basis what has made me happy that day - and seek out the happiness that surrounds us.

I believe it's there and I believe we were meant to find it.  If you would like to join me with your own blogs, or comments, I welcome your partnership.  After all, one thing I do know makes me happy is support from others.

**Please note, this was inspired, in part, by another blogger and friend of mine: happyladykatie.blogspot.com
